Lead Credit Risk Analyst - Negotiable Salary - Plus benefits - London - J10158

As a Lead Credit Risk Analyst you will be performing analytics across all of the Credit life cycle for this highly successful Financial Institution. Working at the most senior levels
within this organisation you will have the opportunity to interact with, influence thinking
and ultimate decision making.

Role & Responsibilities.
·Strengthen understanding and management of Credit Risk across all aspects of the business.
·Perform quantitative analysis.
·Evaluate and challenge the design of methodologies, strategies, processes and proposals.
·Influence thinking to help deliver appropriate solutions and strategic objectives.
·Build partnerships within business.
·Build collaborative working relationships with other teams.
·Provide documented, pragmatic and independent opinion to support the business
·Provide help and support to get the best outcomes for the business and customers alike.
·Promote and embed the Credit change management processes.

Experience & Skills Required
·Educated to Honours Degree level (2:1 or better) or equivalent in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering or Computer Science.
·Several years' experience in analytical role essential.
·Excellent knowledge of consumer lending.
·Experience in managing aspects of consumer lending portfolios
·Advanced knowledge SAS/SQL essential.
·Possess strong numeracy and analytical skills
·Demonstrable experience in decisioning systems
·Credit Card experience advantageous.
·Be able to identify existing and future Credit Risks.
·Confidently monitor credit performance through existing MI and development of MI.
·Undertake regular interactions with business areas ensuring comprehensive knowledge of the change programmes
