An 'OUTSTANDING’ Not for Profit IFA require an Area Manager to manage a their successful and growing service covering a wide geographical area of East and North London, Herefordshire, Essex, Thurrock and Suffolk.

Working in partnership with local authorities from their offices across England, Wales and Scotland, they are dedicated to providing creative, effective and outcome-focused services. They also campaign on behalf of children and young people in care, carers and adoptive families.
The key challenges going forward for the successful applicant will be to:
- Continue the expansion of fostering households and placements.
- Maintain the high standards of care for the children in placement.
- Develop foster carers skills and competencies particularly in relation to the challenging referrals that are currently coming through the duty system.
- Attract new carers in a competitive environment.
To be successful in this position you will need to be a highly experienced Social Work Professional with extensive management experience specifically within the fostering.
You will have had previous staff supervisory experience and will be confident in supporting other social work staff both in a formal setting and on a day to day basis as required.
The role carries a competitive salary of £53,570+ London Weighting allowance of £3439 and an on call duty bonus of £1500 taking the total package to £58509 and you will also be entitled to an excellent benefit package, including pension scheme, healthcare, flexible working and a generous holiday allowance.
