Great opportunity to join a highly-successful college in a pivotal role, providing an exceptional support service to the Principal.

The role of Personal Assistant to the Principal is critical for the running of the college. It is a broad and varied role involving a great deal of interaction with other people. The PA works with an excellent administrative team under the guidance of the Business Manager. The Personal Assistant to the Principal will need to acquire rapidly an extensive knowledge of the college and understand the colleges' aims and objectives

- Excellent organisational skills; good at dealing with paperwork

Responsibilities will include:

- arranging individual appointments and meetings

- planning and preparation for meetings

- managing the diary

- help the Principal make the best use of his time

- managing correspondence

- managing paperwork and e-mails

- communicating outcomes of meetings to teaching staff

- communicating with teachers, students and parents

- implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems

- preparing letters, presentations and reports

- working with the Vice Principals providing administrative and other support

- taking minutes in departmental and other meetings

- staff recruitment and appointments

- managing central staff register

- planning and organising college events

- personal work


Salary: attractive remuneration including bonus

5 weeks holiday plus Bank Holidays


Term time: 9am - 6pm (with flexibility)

Holiday time: 9.30am - 5.00pm

There are a few evenings during the academic year where working late is required. There is also a three week enrolment period starting in the middle of August where the working hours may be longer, as required.
