Our Client are an International operation in the utilities sector. They have an immediate opportunity for a part or qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA Accountant with strong analytical experience to join until Feb 2019 to cover Maternity leave.

The role will take responsibility for:
Development, maintenance and reporting of customer profitability/friction analysis. This is the main focus of the role and requires someone that can work independently to take the cost outputs from the Management Accounts and convert these in to a suitable formats for various business areas. Sales ledger outputs should feed in directly from a data warehouse, although general ledger items will also need adding in.

· Working with the Management Reporting and Management Information team to develop the models.
· Analysing the output to explain variances. This may also involve working with the Costing team to ensure the business are quoting correctly.
· Calculation of the monthly Mark to Market numbers.
· To a lesser extent business partnering the Operations team, monthly reporting, assisting with audit and the budget process.
· Management of 1 FBP.

The successful candidate will require very good Excel skills as the client needs to speed up the process of converting the output in order to deliver analysis to the business quicker, you will also demonstrate excellent communication skills.
