MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

·To ensure all invoices are processed on an accurate and timely basis

·To provide full support to the Accounts Payable section

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

To input supplier details on relevant systems and maintain accurate records.To enter invoices and match to purchase orders onto the system.To assist in performance of weekly payment runs of BACS and payable orders.To assist in preparation of reports when required.To complete routine returns and monthly reconciliations.To deal with enquires from external suppliers and other internal departments.To ensure highest standards of customer care and quality of work.To undertake such other duties as reasonably requested of a similar responsibility level that may be allocated to the post.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Prompt and accurate processing of invoices and payments KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

·Experienced in raising processing invoices and payments

·Strong and professional telephone and email technique for resolution of invoice queries

·Confident at liaising with internal operations managers regarding invoicing queries

·Methodical and analytical approach to the reconciliation of accounts

·Good working knowledge of Word and Excel, in particular VLOOKUP and Pivot tables

·Experience working in a high volume environment
