Based in Godalming, this accountancy firm are seeking a Part Time Credit Controller to join their team, working 25 hours per week. To be considered for this role you will have previous experience within credit control along with strong communication skills and a confident persona.

This role will be paying £25,000 FTE.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Monitoring the company sales ledger, identifying clients who are overdue then chasing said debts via telephone, letter and/or email
  • Despatching monthly documentation such as statements, reminder letter and invoices
  • Agreeing payment plans with clients
  • Dealing with all bank cheques and standing orders
  • Taking credit card payments and refunds
  • Accurately allocating all incoming receipts
  • Liaising with both colleagues and clients to identify any issues in regards to invoicing
  • Monitoring all cash received on a daily basis
  • When necessary, preparing small claims cases and representing the company in court

  • You have experience within credit control
  • You have a confident persona and excellent communication skills - A part of this role will include conversing with clients in regards to overdue payments
  • You work well under pressure and are highly organised
  • You have a good attention to detail
  • You have strong IT skills
  • You are process driven
  • You have experience working within a professional practice - This is not essential but highly advantageous
