Infrastructure Delivery Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Delivery Manager to join SThree's new offices in Glasgow. This Infrastructure Delivery Manager will join SThree's Infrastructure team where you will be working as part of the wider infrastructure team but leading on IT setup on new office locations.

SThree are currently embarking on an exciting venture to set up a new Shared Services Centre of Excellence in Glasgow City Centre. As a result, we have a high volume of new vacancies across our Finance, IT, Legal, and HR teams, providing a fantastic opportunity for you to get involved in something new at a fun, rewarding company.

What will you be doing?

  • Project Management for office ventures, new setups, moves and consolidations
  • Planning and Consulting e.g. technical requirement gathering, resource/ cost estimates, resource engagement, task plan development.
  • Identify and establish relationships with prospective external global vendors to provide the standard IT products and services as required by for New Ventures, Office setup, and decommissioning.
  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure their pricing is competitive and they can provide the standard office IT products and services within budget.
  • Coordination of delivery task activities for office installation, as part of overall plan.

What skills/experience should you have?

  • Previous office setups, moves and consolidations along with internal coordination for office deployments experience
  • Networking, Cabling set up, racking and stacking experience
  • Vendor management experience
  • Virtualisation
