A School in Corby who have been increasingly successful over the last couple of years require support in their Humanities department to teach History to KS3 and KS4 students.
Your new role
You will join a Humanities department 7 teachers, where you will be responsible for planning and preparing lessons for KS3 and KS4 History. This will also involve completing all marketing and assessments, and also providing some cover throughout the Humanities department when required, covering your colleagues across Geography and RE when required.
You will show enthusiasm for the subject, being able to engage students across all skill levels.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 History. You must be available to start following the Easter break and commit to the role until the end of the Academic year. In addition, a proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching, as well as excellent classroom management skills are also required.
You must also have some flexibility in your teaching, to be able to cover across both Humanities and provide the School with general cover support at times.
