I am recruiting on an exclusive basis for my client, a large Insurance specialist who require a proactive and energetic Lead Incident Manager with previous Insurance / Banking Industry experience, ITIL certification and demonstrable Team Lead / Management experience.
As Lead Incident Manager you will lead the team in ensuring effective co-ordination and management of Major Incidents in order to return service as quickly as possible while managing key
Stakeholder communications and expectations. Other responsibilities will include contribution to design and development of Incident Management processes, tools, templates, documents and reports in addition to ensuring 3rd party suppliers fulfil their contractual obligations, especially with regard to SLAs for incidents, root cause analysis, monitoring trends and problem resolution. The role is on a Rota for managing major incidents on an on-call out of hours basis meaning that from time to time non-standard hours of work may also be required to meet significant operational workloads across such as complex releases into the live environment.
To be considered you must be able to clearly demonstrate where and how you have managed Major Incidents within an Insurance / Banking environment. You must have exceptional ITIL knowledge (in addition to qualification) and have clearly led or managed teams of Incident Managers previously. Knowledge of Kepner-Tregoe methods would be an advantage.
