Account Director - EMEA - Pharmaceutical - Transcreation and Localisation

After an exciting new business win in 2015, we are looking for an experience Account Director to lead the EMEA regional decoupled production business of a pharmaceutical company.
The candidate must have experience of delivering campaigns across all channels, with a particular focus on the TV primary production.
This client is one of the largest International accounts in the agency. The successful candidate will be one of the senior members of the team and be expected to liaise with their counterparts in North America (New York) and Asia (Singapore) in order to drive best in class advertising production for the client.
As an Account Director you are a leader within the Client Services Department and are pivotal to the smooth running of the business. Our account handlers are responsible for client relationships, managing the team, building relationships with stakeholders and delivering against budgets and workflows.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record within account handling, have knowledge of industry best-practice and have a strong commercial acumen
Overall responsibility for managing account team
Coach and develop team in their role to ensure success through their personal development plan
Support the Group Account Director (GAD) with business growth
Act as point of contact for escalation for the client/agency and internal teams, resolving problems quickly and communicating effectively
Work closely with GAD on P&L, forecast, budgeting
Have financial responsibilities, including preparing cost estimates, supporting the SAM/AM and signing off their cost estimates.
Develop a deep understanding of the contractual obligations, commercial arrangements and SLAs
Build relationships with key stakeholders, manage perceptions and expectations
Liaise with Print Production/Broadcast team on specified client requirements and resolve client issues/complaints to the satisfaction of main stakeholders
Understand how client, agency, and Hogarth relationships interact
Proven ability to make informed decisions and problem-solve based on sound knowledge
Capability of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
Extensive knowledge of the TV Primary production process.
5 years experience in a traditional ATL agency delivering TV projects, preferably on international accounts.
Knowledge of print, or digital account management role
Experience of budgeting and forecasting.
Focus on continuous improvements, delivering excellent quality and high levels of customer service
Agency experience managing international clients in multiple markets with multiple stakeholders
Understanding of financial compliance procedures
Experience of running an account team including resource planning
Sound technical understanding of client requirements
Prior people management experience
Good networking skills
