- Our client is a highly regarded, innovative market leader in the manufacture of measurement, mapping and survey technologies.

- Their broad product offering includes both handheld data collectors as well as airborne drones, that create detailed digital modelling.

- Their solutions cover industries such as surveying, engineering, building and heavy construction, power-lines and plant, safety and security, utilities, road and highways and rail.

- This is exciting new technology for mapping, which is revolutionising the world of surveying.


- As Sales Engineer you will be covering London and the South East, promoting and selling your innovative measurement and survey technology into a broad route to market.

- Working in the digital world of data capture, where BIM, 3D modelling, point cloud, MEP are all the buzz, you'll be selling everything from 3D laser scanners, 3d panoramic image capture, airborne drones for data capture, to name a few.

- The Sales Engineer will be selling to Architectural practices, MEP Contractors, Shop fitters, Facilities Management companies, Interior fit out companies, Main contractors, sub contractors and end users, such as rail, retailers, data centres, breweries etc. The core projects that you'll target will be across infrastructure and construction, where BIM is becoming more and more common.

- These innovative products cover the digital world for things like powerline mapping, land use, pipeline and cable mapping, to the modelling and planning of of critical infrastructure across the utilities, road and highways sectors, through to indoor mapping for fit out and finishings in buildings.

- These state of the art mapping solutions reduce the speed of data, giving a cost saving over traditional static laser scanning, amongst many other benefits.

- Products could range in value from £15k- £500k and your target in year 1, on a brand new role will be an easily achievable £1 million.


- You will have a good understanding and track record of sales success with modern methods of construction.

- You'll have a strong technology track record, as you're selling digital world reality, where your products capture the information/data and give real time updates of the project status.

- You will have a surveying/architectural, or Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing contractor background, or a ptr with BIM.

- You will be a great communicator and networker, with an energy and passion for measurement technology and software.

- A track record of sales success in the built environment and a natural closer.


- £30K-£50K basic salary dependant on experience.

- Commission of between £10k-£20k potential, paid quarterly

- BMW 320 type company car, or allowance of circa £500 per month

- Attractive pension scheme, where the company put in 7% and you put in 4%.

- 33 days holiday, which rises with service.
