Senior Financial Services Administrator

Location: Altrincham

Salary: £30,000 plus benefits

A large and award winning firm of Chartered Financial Planners based in the heart of Cheshire are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Client Support Administrator to join their offices 15 minutes outside of Stockport.

This is an exciting and interesting opportunity to work within the Sport Team, of one of the most recognised and growing firm of Chartered Financial Planners in the area. As an Award Winning business, the Sports Team offer professional Financial Advise to mainly Premiership Footballers, Golf players and Jockeys on all aspects of Financial Planning.

The successful candidate will join a professional team and growing team. Working alongside the Director, Advisers, Paraplanners and additional Administrators, the successful candidate will provide dedicated, accurate and efficient sales support service where daily duties will consist of;

  • Lead, mentor and motivate members of the Client Support Team to deliver the required customer service experience to all consultants and clients, in line with their objectives.
  • Deliver training to new and existing members of the team on standard Client Support procedures.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of procedure documents for the Client Support team and ensure they are kept up to date as required.
  • Providing an efficient new business processing service for sales consultants, completing trades/fund switches and liaising with product providers and ensuring that new business is set up correctly.
  • Providing administration support in relation to valuations, transfer of servicing and client reviews to allow sales consultants to conduct efficient client meetings.
  • Providing an effective link between the client and the consultant ensuring that both are kept up to date with all matters relating to their financial affairs.
  • Ensuring that all client information is stored on the relevant system and it is updated accurately and timely checking that all compliance requirements are met.
  • Preparing invoices for work completed for clients.
  • Provide post meeting administration support to consultants ensuring that all work is completed within agreed timescales.


  • Extensive knowledge of all products and funds falling within area of responsibility
  • Ability to build relationships with consultants and ensure an effective relationship is maintained
  • Previous experience of working for an IFA
  • Certificate in Financial Services/Planning
  • Intermediate skills in Intelligent Office
  • Solid Communication Skills
