Security Architect (Identity and Access Management)
6 Months
£700 - £750 per day

Security Architect required to join our team and help us increase the agility of the Digital Fraud Platform.

You'll have the unique opportunity to work on a broad portfolio of projects, but focusing initially on our fraud engine and security aspects to enable secure customer authentication.

You will be expected to

  • Provide SME advice and expertise of customer identity and access management domain
  • Provide architectural leadership and direction for the domain
  • Ability to define key architectural decisions and provide accountability for those decisions
  • Produce & own Security Architecture documentation
  • Provide advice concerning competitor awareness and understanding of market trends
  • Key Skills
  • Subject matter expert for customer identity and access management technologies like Ping ID , ForgeRock OpenAM, CallSign etc.
  • Trusted advisor to business on digital identity in traditional and emerging API ecosystems like IBM API Connect, APIGEE etc
  • Knowledge of Cloud Providers Security frameworks and compliance to PSD2 Standards - Amazon, Microsoft, Google or IBM
  • Programme shaping and architecture for key strategic programmes
  • Understanding of security protocols OAUTH, OIDC, SAML, SSO and Legacy Integration
  • Delivery of High Level Architecture artefacts describing principles and standards to be adopted across the enterprise together with the future strategy and roadmaps
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business and engineering teams to design and deliver capability
  • Understand industry trends and vendor offerings to ensure the company strategy and roadmaps capitalise on opportunities
  • Aware of Industry standards like FIDO, CIBA and PSD2- RTS
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of PEN testing, API Security, BOT protection, Mobile App security, OWASP and OSI model security
  • Knowledge of DevOps frameworks and Fraud Risk Engines

  • A strategic thinker with ability to take insights and information from a wide range of sources, developing structured and actionable recommendations.
  • Have a natural thirst for knowledge, proactively seeking out interesting market developments and getting under the headlines to generate insightful analysis
  • Be a strong verbal communicator, with ability to influence and maintain strong relationships with teams across divisions
  • Possess solid written communication skills, with good knowledge of how to build and deliver effective senior level presentations
  • Have a rich understanding of customer needs, segments, trends, banking products and strategy. Regularly keep track of market and regulatory change

It would be great if you were experienced in an Agile environment; collaborative and flexible, resolving architectural decisions and drive business value by getting under the skin of the problem and provide what's really needed.
