Harvey Nash's client is looking for a highly skilled UX Researcher to join their UX and design team on an permanent basis out of their very cool, high tech modern office in the city centre of Edinburgh. You will be responsible for delivering quality products that their end users will find engaging and exciting. Through various quantitative and qualitative research techniques to help understand all their users and be a voice for the company as you work closely with other areas of the business to really help shape and create an engaging user experience. You will have ownership of your research and the freedom to try new techniques and technologies, while even critiquing their current ones. Look for ways to improve delivery and how they research.
You will be someone can demonstrate skills in UX research techniques, with excellent presentation and communication skills, who likes to dive head first into projects, perhaps you enjoy proving past insights and assumptions wrong. Self-driven and focused individual who isn't afraid to ask those more challenging questions. Used to working with designers to help craft a great experience for their end users. Along with planning, evaluating and running user testing sessions, our client wants you to have a say in how the UX process is shaped. If you have ever worked in remote setting for a global based company that would be a big plus point. As the majority of their customer are outside the UK, so its key that you can demonstrate an understanding of using different remote research methods.
