Bluestones Logistics is currently looking to recruit a Financial Services Administrator for their client based in Manchester City Centre.

The ideal candidate must have financial services experience and the main duties and responsibilities will be:-

  • Completing the administration associated with new business and transferring of new clients to the Company (transfer of agencies), ensuring that new business submitted to the insurance company is fully completed and compliant and all internal systems are up to date including fee expectations.
  • Monitoring of new business progress and chasing outstanding documentation.
  • Accurately checking and issuing policy documents.
  • Producing quotations as requested using Assureweb or other databases as required and requesting illustrations from providers.
  • Producing client summaries/valuations as requested for new and existing clients within specified deadlines.
  • Dealing with clients in a professional manner in relation to queries on their policies/investments and ensuring that any necessary changes are completed.
  • Liaising effectively with clients, product providers and Directors.
  • Answering the telephone in a polite and professional manner.
  • Co-ordinating of the Directors diaries, such as making appointments.
Skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • A comprehensive working knowledge of Intelliflo (iO) is essential
  • Previous experience in an IFA environment
  • Interpersonal skills – able to work as part of a team and communicate professionally with clients
  • Proactive – willing to continue to develop, be enthusiastic
  • Highly organised, methodical, disciplined and meticulous
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Computer literate – Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Excellent keyboard skills
Preferable:

  • Knowledge of using provider platforms such as AJ Bell, Aegon (Cofunds), James Hay, Aviva
In return my client is offering a very competitive salary, 25 days holiday (plus birthday and half day Christmas shopping), pension scheme and discretionary bonus.This is a Monday to Friday role 8.30am to 5pm or 9am to 5.30pm.
