I'm looking for a Data Analyst who's experienced using the package R to support the development of forecasting models and 'marketing' internal stakeholders with their analytical requirements.

The Role

The Data Analyst is sat within the business planning and performance team and will partner the product and marketing teams; helping to provide analysis for strategy and business critical projects. Role will include:

  • Strategic analysis
  • Funding requirement forecasts
  • Analytical support to marketing department
  • Annual business planning and budgeting
  • Design and production of financial performance reports

About You

I'm looking for a financial Data Analyst who has knowledge of modelling or data mining and/or forecasting techniques. You will have analytical software skills, intermediate to advanced level of Excel (with experience of VBA) and experience of using the package R. You will have excellent numerical ability required for data preparation and analysis and be able to interpret large data sets and survey data with an appreciation of risk/scenario analysis and population distribution analysis. You will have strong stakeholder skills, project management/resource skills to work under your own autonomy.
