This is an excellent and rare opportunity for a commercially aware qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant to provide an effective link between operational staff and the finance department. Our client's company is well established and highly thought of in their sector with easy access to the A180 and beyond.



THE ROLE



-The Business Accountant will play a key role in the financial control of the company, ensuring timely and accurate management information and communicating effectively with all staff

-Prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, prepare efficiency and cost savings plans, prepare timely management accounts and maintain strong financial control

-To act as Business Partner as and when required and meet with budget holders to review budgets

-Take responsibility for key control accounts, payroll processing, bank accounts, review of aged debtors and creditors, year end audit work







THE CANDIDATE



-You will be an experienced qualified accountant looking for a new challenge with a background preferably from professional services/industry but this is not essential. The required skills and experience are more important, therefore candidates currently working in professional practice are also welcome to apply and use their transferrable skills in a new setting

-Excellent communication skills are essential as is the ability to relay sometimes complex financial information to non finance people.

-You are a team player, systems literate and have good analytical and time management skills.

-Able to work to deadline, you have technically strong and demonstrable accounting skills and the confidence to work with colleagues across the business at all levels.

-Our client is a highly respected and well known employer in their sector. Located in Grimsby, there is good access to the A180 and public transport links. Some limited car parking is available but public parking is close by.





THE BENEFITS: £40,000 - £45,000 + benefits
