I am recruiting a qualified CIMA/ACCA Management Accountant for a client of ours in Hull city centre. The role will report into the Head of Finance and work with a busy accounts team for a well known employer.


-Prepare the monthly management accounts and management reports for the company and its subsidiaries including cross charging, consolidations and ad hoc financial information requests all within deadline

-Provide advice and guidance to budget managers to plan, forecast and monitor the finances

-Provide financial insight into business reviews, assist with preparation of the statutory accounts, monitor and report on income sources

-Produce relevant year end analysis and assist with preparation for audit

-Prepare timely cash flow forecasts, develop a robust reporting structure and support any future mergers/acquisitions

-This is a wide ranging management accountant position and a full job description is available


-ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) you will have demonstrable experience in management accounting and a positive approach combined with first class analytical and investigative skills

-A high standard of systems literacy is required, particularly with Excel and the ability to communicate effectively with not just the wider finance team but in all areas across the business so previous experience of business partnering would be useful but not essential.

-Our client is based in the city centre of Hull with good road and rail links to all areas of the city, A63 and Humber Bridge, Beverley and the East Yorkshire villages. Public transport is also close by.


-£38,000 - £43,000 depending on background, experience and level of qualification
