UX Lead - Optimisation & Continuous Improvement

What will this role achieve?

This role will help us define our digital UX testing strategy in the UK but will also have the chance to work with colleagues globally to share ideas and learning. We need someone who will help us :

  • Continually improve the performance of our websites across several platforms in our technology stack
  • Represent the customer and challenge people to think of the entire customer journey
  • Lead optimisation activities to focus on sales and NPS metrics.
  • Work closely with brand and other parts of the business to ensure consistency yet still deliver efficient experiences.
  • Manage and work closely with our analytics teams and creative agencies
  • Collaborate with marketing managers, product managers, developers, and key business stakeholders to influence requirements and define detailed UX optimisation test plans.
  • Support and actively encourage an agile way of working.
  • Work with our retail partners to support a seamless customer journey when users visit the website and continue their purchase journey elsewhere
  • What will be your key deliverables?

  • Create and lead an ongoing optimisation plan across all our web properties
  • Develop the roadmap for key UX improvements for Samsung’s websites for continuous AB
  • and MVT tests to increase conversion
  • Set out test hypothesis, success measures and UX to be tested and optimised, including
  • leading business prioritisation
  • Manage user research process user research and insights to support UX optimisation
  • recommendations
  • Manage the end to end process from test creation, UX design, development / implementation
  • and results reporting working with our various agencies
  • Agile UX process, working closely with key stakeholders
  • Develop customer journeys, wireframes and research recommendations
  • Management of a team of high performing UX designers
  • What do we need for this role?

    We need someone who is dynamic and approachable - someone who’ll be a great team lead but is

    happy to get their hands dirty. This also means:

  • At least 7 years of digital UX experience, including previous in running optimisation
  • programmes
  • Experience working mobile-first
  • Extremely data oriented and highly analytical - experience with Omniture Analytics, Test and
  • Target and other analytics and optimisation tools and platforms
  • Some user research experience helpful but not essential
  • Experience of collaborating with visual designers
  • Experience of working agile (kanban or scrum)
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Passion and commitment to create genuinely engaging experiences
  • Experience of working successfully on both small and large-scale projects, using a variety of
  • technologies
  • Outstanding people management experience and skills
