Grafton Banks Finance are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant of behalf of their client who are a well established accountancy firm in the Worthing area, West Sussex. They are very friendly and professional firm who work with a broad range of clients across the South East. This is a great time to be joining this ambitious firm who are based in comfortable offices in an easily accessible location with free on site parking.
The role reports to the payroll manager and will involve processing a portfolio of weekly and monthly payrolls for a range of small clients. You will input starters and leavers , upload pension information, carry out administrative tasks and deal with client queries. Moving forwards you will have the opportunity to develop your payroll knowledge and work with bigger clients .
The ideal candidate for this Payroll Assistant position will have some previous payroll experience, ideally gained within an accountancy practice/payroll bureau environment. You will possess excellent customer services skills, good attention to detail and be confident in liaising with clients by email and over the phone . A working knowledge of Sage Payroll software would be an advantage but is not essential
