When it comes to data, 'It'll do' will never do.

You're an Architect who sees in patterns. You have an analytical mind that can take complex ideas and break them down into logical steps. You're used to working with both agile and waterfall delivery methods. If this sounds like you, then you could be just the type of Information (Data) Architect we need at William Hill.

Joining our Data Management team, you'll play an important part in enhancing an enterprise wide data platform using latest methods and technologies. Together we define the needs of the platform and the data available, plus development of the blueprint for creation, testing and maintenance.

Data can be anything from full transactional actions, retail information and financial records to marketing and personal information. You'll work closely with database administrators, development team, testers and analysts to make sure the business can easily use and access data, work with management to create platforms that will be usable and store the information required, figure out business needs, create solutions, advise on security plans and measures, maintain database integrity and plan for natural disasters and cyber-attacks.

As we all know, GDPR will make data management a huge focus for everyone. Your expertise will help us adapt data usage to suit the needs of a modern online business. Your work will support responsible gambling initiatives, fraud prevention and anti-money laundering measures, plus driving marketing behaviours and activity.

You're an established Data Architect who's well versed in data structures and how to architect data robustly using various modelling techniques. You've worked with MS SQL stack and ideally take more than a passing interest in big data and analytics.

We'd like to see that you can lead and motivate people; that you work well in a team but are self-driven too. You're focused on technical delivery, and genuinely thrive on change.

Join William Hill, and you'll be part of an international Architecture community of practice.
