Lecturer - Additional Support for Learning

The Faculty of Access and Continuing Learning is looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to deliver courses to young adults with learning disabilities, including cognitive disabilities in Additional Support for Learning and related areas to a diverse range of students,.
The post holder will work closely with the Head of Curriculum and Senior Lecturers to provide high quality learning and assessment opportunities that will enhance learning and teaching with a strong learner focus. Educated to Degree level, with significant experience in teaching students with learning disabilities, including cognitive disability, you will prepare and deliver teaching materials and work within a team to develop new approaches to teaching.
You will demonstrate good organisational skills along with the ability to work on your own initiative and work under pressure. Enthusiasm for the role and willingness to develop your own skills and qualities through staff development, specific training and self-evaluation. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, have positive and flexible attitude to work and relate well to student groups. Salary: £32,394 - £38,903 per annum
Location: Cross Campus. You will be required to travel and work within all Glasgow Clyde campuses
