Senior Solutions Architect (Supply Chain)

Senior Solutions Architect (Supply Chain) is require for my Northampton based client to create integrated end to end solutions for key business capabilities such as stock management, warehouse management and replenishment.

The Senior Solutions Architect (Supply Chain) will be responsible for:

  • Defining end-to-end solutions for the ERP and supply chain architecture documenting the baseline, target and transition architectures at the conceptual and logical level.
  • Creating architectures and design that are fit for purpose from a functional, non-functional, service, and security point of view.
  • Providing full requirements traceability against the solution.
  • Delivering solutions that progress the overall architecture journey
  • Investigating and documenting the current supply chain and ERP systems integration and architecture.
  • Creating the “to-be” blueprint between supply chain, advanced planning, warehouse operations, costing and procurement solutions.
  • Transforming requirements into detailed solution architecture deliverables. Defining and incorporating non-functional and cross-functional requirements into proposed solutions. Ensuring the stability and scalability of the solution and its cross functional integration.
  • Leading and facilitate cross functional solution design discussions with business process owners, business process modellers, business analysts and developers.
  • Working with Domain Architects (including Data, Infrastructure, Security and business architects) to ensure that the solution architecture aligns with system design guidelines and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Skills required for the Senior Solutions Architect (Supply Chain):

  • Large scale ERP experience, integrating with supply chain, planning and operational systems.
  • Deep understanding of JDA warehouse management and replenishment solutions.
  • Knowledge of stock management and fulfillment processes and solutions
  • Knowledge of stock management, Demand++ and warehouse management modules.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Working knowledge of PaaS, IaaS, SaaS and Hybrid cloud architectures
  • Experience working with 3rd party partners
  • Experience with similar roles within either the merchant or retail environments
  • Self starter able to prioritise, manage and complete multiple items to short deadlines, with minimal oversight.
  • This is an initial 6 month contract with an immediate start.
