ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is an incredibly interesting and diverse role, whereby you will be providing pastoral, social and academic support.
You will be supporting and motivating students with their A-Level preparation, to ensure personal and social development to successfully transition from school to sixth form and into the next stage of their educations and career.
You will need to liaise and work collaboratively with both subject specific teachers and within cross-curricular activities, ensuring students receive the support they need both inside and outside of the classroom. After being allocated a specific group of students who you will assist and support them through the rest of the year, both academically and with personal, social or emotional difficulties.
You will preferably you will have a degree in a core subject and must be degree educated with a minimum of a 2:1, preferably Russell Group, as well as strong A Levels.
Ideally you will have previous work experience with young people and will have a sparky, confident and adaptable nature. Also, it is essential that you are a confident communicator, both written and verbal, as you will be required to liaise with students, parents and staff
Lastly, you will be committed to gaining valuable experience prior to further training and be ready to hit the ground running in this new role.
