An established leading construction company who are rapidly expanding and have large offices across the UK are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.
Your new role
This unique job, needs a person who is adaptable, has the ability to use their initiative and work well independently. You will have excellent communication skills, as you will need to interact with employees of all levels from entry level to directors including dealing with suppliers and any issues or queries they may have. The successful candidate will be experienced in purchase ledger, have knowledge of accountancy software programs, Microsoft and Advanced Excel.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be a quick learner possessing a high attention to detail. You will have experience in raising purchase orders, processing a high volume of invoices, reconciling supplier statements. Previous experience working in a fast paced construction environment and working to deadlines would be highly beneficial.
