Job Title: Interim Management Accountant

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Location: Scunthorpe


Initially a three month interim contract for an experienced Management Accountant to join a large organisation in Scunthorpe. You will be reporting directly into the Financial Controller.

The Company are offering a competitive salary, onsite parking, flexible working hours and 1 day a week working from home.


-To complete Management Accounts to a tight deadline.

-Provide commentary, support and feedback to thoroughly investigate all variances to budget/forecast.

-Management and statutory accounts for all commercial entities.

-Drive a true Business Partnering approach in relation to supporting the rest of the business.

-Prepare all necessary supporting working papers in relation to accounting records and reports.

-Undertake annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.

-Hold monthly (or as appropriate) meetings with budget holders and HOST based on monthly costs reports.

-Ensure all balance sheet accounts for area of responsibility are reconciled & reviewed on a monthly basis

-Cash flow reporting and forecasting for area of responsibility.

-Liaise with internal and external auditors as required


-Must have solid experience within Management Accounts and have a good understanding of key accounting principles which are fundamental to the duties and responsibilities of the role.

-Good interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at a variety of levels, orally and in writing.

-High level of IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel and accounting software's.

-Ability to prioritise own work and to work accurately under pressure to meet conflicting deadlines.
