Are you an experienced Communications Manager or have experience in Community Management, near Dereham?

Our client is looking for an exceptional Community Manager on a 3 month interim basis with the possibility for extension.

With great company benefits including 22 days holiday per year, flexible working hours, and early finishes on Friday’s, your role is to deliver the development of the marketing, communications and engagement strategies.

How will I do this?

Supporting the Executive Manager, you will contribute to:
• Reach - Increasing customer interaction, transaction and growth through digital streams and channels, including web content management
• Press and PR - Advise and coach all managers and members, including media interview preparation
• Internal and External Communications – providing publications, public relations activities and special events (internal and external), including the ongoing relationships with the local and regional media
• Marketing, Design and Print - Building strong corporate identities and distinctive “brand” values, enhancing and developing the company’s reputation, including the management of the corporate Social Media accounts
• Supporting the digitalisation of services, monitoring information and management of relevant service budgets
• Managing the supervision of staff, including motivating, conducting appraisals, identifying training and developing needs and agreeing activities to meet those identified needs with the Assistant Director – Democratic Services .

We would love you to have:

Significant experience of working in a Marketing & Communications environment within a complex organisation.

Experience in the development of digital streams to aid customer engagement and interaction.

Experience of supervision and resource management of a multi-disciplined Marketing and communications team.

Project Management/ Corporate communications, media & public relations.

Knowledge of customer-focussed website design and the provision of digitalised services or products.

Marketing and customer service and related trends and issues.

Production of corporate communication projects and aware of public sector responsibilities, ethics and law.

Development of sound, trusting business relationships with the ability to act as media adviser

Excellent proof reading and copy-writing skills.

IT skills (Microsoft software).
