Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working with a global professional body of management accountants based in East Central London employed as a Business Development Manager?

Your role will be to grow their students and membership numbers in the UK, promote the products and services, and support the UK Business Development Team. You will be working alongside our Clients UK Business Development team, based at their offices in East Central London.

Main Duties of the role:

  • Engage with UK employers in promoting the qualifications, products and services
  • Work with the Employer Relationship Team to develop joint plans for employer led business development initiatives
  • Deliver student and membership numbers to target
  • Explore new opportunities through proactive prospecting
  • Identify 'growth’ employers and take action to exploit and build long term relationships
  • Attend high profile area and central events as required
  • Support regional Employer Relationship Managers in developing both tier 1 and tier 2 accounts
  • Act as an ambassador for our client at all times
  • Design and innovate new activities to directly grow their market presence and awareness
  • To generate and host your own appointments
  • Assist relevant projects or tasks as required in order to achieve team and business goals


  • Outbound telephone canvasing experience essential
  • Relationship development and management
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with autonomous working
  • Organisation/time management and planning skills
  • High standard of written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in order to achieve individual and team KPI’s
  • IT skills including MS office and database management
  • Understand the sales-cycle and how to apply this in a B2B environment
  • Presentation experience both in person and virtually
  • Experience of dealing with stakeholders of all levels of seniority
  • Experience with social media
  • Experience with collaboration software, such as CISCO WebEx
  • Availability to travel


  • Basic Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 Depending on experience
  • Up to 20% Bonus.


  • 22 days holiday per year - rising to 25 after five years’ service - plus 3 days at Christmas
