Hays is partnered with an excellent public sector organisation located in Midlothian, to recruit a 'Finance Officer' into their team.
Your new role
Joining as 'Finance Officer' you will be responsible for managing the end to end processing of the organisations monthly payroll. You will be entering all employees hours, liaising with HMRC, processing pensions and RTI. In addition to this, you will have the opportunity to assist with the processing of purchase and sales invoices, handling petty cash and ensuring you dealing with supplier queries promptly and professionally. Please note, this opportunity is full time.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous finance experience specialising in payroll, and will have had exposure to end to end payroll. You will have excellent attention to detail, will be a strong communicator and is able to prioritise tasks and challenge.
