Finance Officer (Purchase Ledger) - Harrogate

3 Month FTC (With possibility to extend)


*** This position is a 3 month fixed term contract with the possibility of being extended ***

TM Resourcing are working with an organisation based in Harrogate who are looking to recruit a Finance Officer (Purchase Ledger) to join them ASAP initially for 3 months with the possibility of extending longer. The role is to provide a professional and timely accounting service in respect to all payments of invoices and expenses through the Purchase Ledger.

Key Duties:

Ensure invoices are accurately input to relevant systems.

Ensure invoices are correctly calculated, approved and coded.

Reconcile supplier statements to supplier purchase ledger accounts.

Prepare payment batches and enter payments through BACS or manual cheques for all due balances on a regular basis.

About You:

You need to have experience within a similar role and a relevant accountancy qualification.

Computerised accounting purchase ledger experience, preferably Sage 200 and Care Blox.

High attention to detail and an ordely approach to processing.
