Head of Residential Conveyancing

An experienced Conveyancing Solicitor is wanted to head the Residential Property department of a highly regarded firm based in Worcester. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

My client is a successful and well established multi service firm with an excellent reputation in the market. They are looking to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to manage a highly varied caseload whilst overseeing, managing and maintaining the Conveyancing department.

The department consists of 2 Fee Earners, 2 trainee fee earners as well as a Legal Assistant. You will be expected to deal with a mixed caseload which includes sales, purchases, leaseholds, freeholds, re-mortgages, shared ownership, transfers of equity, declarations of trusts and right to buy purchases.

The role will involve a mix of fee earning and supervisory duties and you will be involved in quality control and compliance. In addition you will you will be expected to attend networking events and seminars to maintain your expertise, develop new business relationships and cement existing ones.

It is essential that the successful candidate is a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive. You will have supervisory experience and a desire to build management responsibility.
