Role - Sales Engineer
Location - UK based - ideally candidates to be based in the Midlands
Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 + bonus + company car + laptop + mobile + healthcare

As a group they specialise in many different fields of engineering however in the UK they are in the process of building an exciting new division focussed within the material handling sector. They are looking to recruit a motivated, self-starter who is looking for a role they can truly make their own!
The Sales Engineer role will involve proactively growing the new UK division by targeting customers in industries such as automotive, heavy industry, warehousing & FMCG.

The role of Sales Engineer will involve:
Selling material handling solutions to companies across the UK.
Targeting markets such as automotive, heavy industry, warehousing & FMCG.
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for putting together a strategic sales plan to demonstrate what areas and companies will be targeted first.
Equipment/Solution values range from £10,000 - £3million, you will be responsible for initial contact with customer thought to the order being placed, there may also be an option to take on some project management responsibility once the business is won.
Work with senior managers to identify new sub-contract companies that can be partnered with e.g. structural steel work, electrical & controls.
Generating meeting with Operation Managers, Purchasing Managers & Technical Managers.
Based from home, ideally in the Midlands as this is where the head office will be in Birmingham.
To be successful in your application for the Sales Engineer role you will need:
Previous experience selling capital equipment or special purpose machinery to any kind of production environment, any automotive experience will be a benefit.
To be motivated by hunting down new business.
You will be given the opportunity to grow a new division from scratch.
