This is an exciting opportunity in Cumbernauld for a Manufacturing Engineering Leader.

Cummins Scotland is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects such as implementing continuous improvement projects. As well as leading and developing a team of manufacturing engineers.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

·Identifying opportunities to support continuous improvement, including capital and capacity. Driving changed in the department.

·Provide clear leadership and guidance to an engineering function

·Provide technical advice to engineers and project teams.

·Drive change and initiatives across our site.

·Identify training needs for the engineering team and provide coaching.

Skills and Experience Required:

·Excellent leadership/ management skills

·Capital Project Management / Reporting experience.

·Significant experience in purchasing tools and equipment

·New Product Introduction experience. Including Process Design,

Materials, Manufacturing Processes, Manufacturing Management,

Manufacturing Economics, Quality Control, Computer Applications, and

Automation.

·Ability to remove barriers with excellent problem solving skills

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

·Mechanical engineering degree would be advantageous

·Will consider (HNC/ HND) with significant experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary - £48,000 - £51,000

12% Variable company bonus
