SF Group are currently recruiting a Finance Assistant for our client to maintain the Group's rent ledger in respect of all tenants and leaseholders ensuring all payments received by whatever method are processed onto the rent ledger each day.

You will be assisting the Finance Officer, checking procedures are complete by the required deadline and resolving any issues arising. You will be setting up codes for new properties and liaise with other departments regarding hand overs. You will be running rent statements on a monthly basis to a timetable agreed. You will liaise with other departments in respect of sales ledger amounts overdue and chase outstanding debts in line with current procedure.

Furthermore you will provide cover for all other finance assistants in their absence. If you have rent accounting, sales ledger and credit control experience then this will be necessary. Ideally you will also be studying your AAT and be at least level 2. This is a one year contract covering maternity leave.
