We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with good mechanical skills ideally used to working on process machineary that needs to run continuoulsy.

Role and Responsibilities

* Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods;
* Working on the drives and improving the running of the equipment.
* Planning and scheduling planned and unplanned work;
* Diagnosing breakdown problems;
* Facilities management
* Health and Safety management
* Dealing with emergency and unplanned problems and repairs;
* writing maintenance strategies
* Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs;
* Maintain a service schedule for all critical equipment
* Hold all equipment manuals and spare parts lists
* Maintain stocks of consumable spares
* Entries into repair and maintenance logs for all equipment
* Ad-hoc Tasks as required.

Additional Salary Info: 20 days annual holiday to start, contributory pension scheme. Day shift hours but possible call outs as line works 6am to 10pm daily.

Essential Skills

Qualifications and Education Requirements

* Relevant Engineering qualification OR
* Ten years' experience in a similar role

Preferred Skills

* Work with Operations to improve production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns and develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes.
* Knowledge of Drives and software.
* Ability to establish and maintain a good team working environment.
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic
* Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams

Desirable Skills

* liaising with client departments and customers;
* arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components;
* controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment;
