A leading financial services business is seeking a Marketing professional to join their London office. The UK Marketing Specialist role will be Channel aligned and responsible for designing Marketing plans, for Institutional, Wholesale and Retail / Wealth markets.

The UK Marketing Specialist will be responsible for defining and delivering plans that are focused across Acquisition, Cross Sale and Retention objectives.

In addition Marketing plans will help deliver brand objectives and deepen client engagement. The role-holder will be expected to maximise the value from their budget with an expectation that they will execute across the full marketing spectrum and seek to report and demonstrate impact. The role-holder will need to build effective relationships across the business including key Distribution Channel Managers and Product teams. The ability to engage and influence these stakeholders will be essential.

Key responsibilities & duties:

Support the Senior Marketing Manager in the Development of the UK Channel Marketing Plan

Define & clearly articulate marketing plans to secure resources and commitment across key stakeholdersBuild out plans at a client segment level to ensure continuity of visibility and messagingLead bottom up marketing planning defining objectives, key campaigns and resource requirementsChampion the voice of the client and the Brand proposition within the ChannelBuild effective relationships internally to secure required resource and expertiseDevelop commercially focused multi-marketing channel campaigns and contact strategies

Design multi-channel marketing campaigns utilising the full and most appropriate marketing mixWorking with different teams to secure expert input to shape design and optimal mixRecommend budgets requirements based on analysis of previous performance to optimise resourcesEngage Sales and Client teams to fully integrate marketing activity into Distribution effortsAdopt global standards and processes and embed best practice within campaigns and activitiesEstablish robust campaign management, delivering a set of coherent activities to meet specific objectivesContinue to strengthen campaign audience targeting to drive relevance, resonance and personalisationImplement effective contact strategy and controls to prevent over / under communication at a client levelDeliver Marketing Campaigns and Initiatives to time, scope and budget

Develop clearly articulated Campaign & Activity briefs to engage stakeholders & initiate activityEnsure suite of investment content available to meet client segment and channel needsEnsure all activity aligns and supports the advancement of the brandProject manage delivery of campaign assets (including Advertising) to required timescalesActively monitor campaign performance and optimise activity throughout campaignsAdopt an agile approach to amend campaigns to reflect changes in performance or external environmentActively review plans & business impact and embed a continuous improvement within the marketing process

Monitor progress against plan and budgets, flexing priorities and resources accordinglyReview core KPIs and report on Marketing impactProvide MI and narrative as required to support Marketing Governance processesAdopt core operational processes & risk controls ensuring all relevant training is completedIdentify process and operational challenges to enable the wider platform to be developedIdentify learning and development opportunities and seek to adopt Marketing best practiceThe role requires:
