My client who are a leading Tier 1 Investment banking is now looking to hire a senior AVP Java Developer/ engineer to become part of their structured derivatives team. You will benefit from working with a team who are very experienced and form an integral part of the business. Ideally you will have good experience with object orientated development.
What you will be doing primarily is building new functions for an existing application. The scope of this project is very interesting and also very technically challenging and rewarding. Your role will include working with wide range of engineering technologies. You will also be tasked with working alongside an in memory data grid. The development solution you will providing will form an integral function and service for the Markit risk managers. The system you will be developing produce live numbers for traders to use. In this role you will be receiving live data from the exchange and using this data to calculate risk.
You will need to have a minimum of 4 years core java, Java 8, SQL experience. Ideally Knowledge of object orientated development, Generics, Collections, Multi-threading, I/O, specific language knowledge would be a plus.
