Droylsden Academy are seeking to appoint a passionate English Teacher & Assistant Faculty Leader for September

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and motivated permanent English Teacher and Assistant Faculty Leader of Learning Support who is committed to providing an exciting and rewarding experience for all our students, commencing employment with us from 1st September 2018.

We are determined that the successful candidate will:

  • Have a passion for teaching English
  • Working to the Learning Faculty Leader (SENCO), ensure expected and, as far as possible, better than expected progress of SEND (especially at KS3) and LAC learners.
  • Have responsibility for the quality and success of learning for students in Year 7-9 who require specific learning support.
  • With the Faculty Leader, establish and maintain a culture that secures excellence, equity and high expectations of all pupils
