The Opportunity:

Electrical & Mechanical Engineer (Process / Power / Waste) required to be based in Nottingham. The Electrical & Mechanical Engineer (Process / Power / Waste) represents an excellent opportunity to come in to a world leading, multinational organisation in one of their new multimillion pound ventures.

The Role:

For the Electrical & Mechanical Engineer (Process / Power / Waste) we are looking for a maintenance professional who has predominantly electrical skills, but with good mechanical knowledge as well to be part of a new team. You will be implementing PPM and reactive maintenance on a range of new and existing equipment which will involve the likes of a assets including pumps, motors, compressors, Steam turbine, moving grate thermal boiler and materials handling plant.

  • Carrying out Planned preventative & reactive maintenance
  • Identification and purchase of essential maintenance spares
  • Preparing procedures and risk assessment for maintenance tasks
  • Planning and carrying out improvement projects
  • Supervision of maintenance sub-contractors

The Person:

For the Electrical & Mechanical Engineer (Process / Power / Waste), we are looking for an established multi skilled professional with an electrical background. You will come from a heavy industrial process environment such as waste to energy, power station, chemical, oil & gas, petrochemical or marine / Navy engineering ideally. We will also look at process industries like steel and glass, for example.If you have good experience maintaining around the likes of steam boilers, generators, gas treatment equipment and their associated auxiliary systems that would be massively beneficial.

  • Excellent Electrical skills with strong mechanical skills
  • Excellent proactive (PPM) and reactive maintenance skills
  • A practical knowledge of medium and high voltage switchgear advantageous
  • Working knowledge of pressure system regulation advantageous
  • Able to provide technical advice to other members
