Do you have experience of working within an Accountancy Practice? Do you have experience of mentoring or managing junior staff? Sheridan Maine Public Practice is currently recruiting for a forward thinking Accountancy Practice based in Winchester who are offering an Accounts Supervisor job on a permanent basis.

This well established firm offer a fixed fee mentality to offer stability and clarity to their clients and boast over 60 years experience from their Partners. They also pride themselves on their customer service standards.

As Accounts Supervisor you will:

- Supervise and mentor junior members of staff across accounts preparation, VAT and bookkeeping.
- Managing the Department work flow from logging incoming jobs, through to allocation and review.
- Ensure all VAT filing deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Ensure the quality of work within the Department is maintained to a high level.

As a successful applicant, you will have current knowledge of working within Practice, ideally with active or recent completion of a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent). You will have prior experience of working with Accounting and VA, with either prior Management experience or intention to move into this area. A strong ability to communicate with all levels will be expected, as well as strong computer skills.
