Maintenance Engineer - Electrical bias
Electrical Maintenance Engineer job in Leicester. Shifts: 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. £30K + overtime

This British-owned manufacturing business is going from strength to strength and is rapidly growing its market share. Having won some major new contracts, it's maintenance team is expanding and they require a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias to join them.
Your new role
You'll maintain all plant and machinery in a timely and efficient manner and carry out scheduled routine maintenance of machines and supporting services and fault find and repair machines as required. You will join a highly skilled planned maintenance team, and electrical repairs may involve working with up to 415 volts AC or DC current. You'll investigate reported faults, identify the cause and decide the necessary course of action to rectify the fault.
What you'll need to succeed
You've got a strong, practical engineering background and understanding of engineering, manufacturing and operational processes and standards. You'll be able to demonstrate experience of electrical fault-finding and repairing of machinery and equipment. Ideally, you should have served an apprenticeship with an associated engineering qualification; you should be 17th edition compliant, with experience of hands on maintenance. You'll be conversant with Fanuc, Siemens and Mitsubishi controls.
