We are recruiting for a qualified and ambitious Accounts Portfolio Manager job in Banbury, working for a renowned, Midlands-based accountancy practice with an excellent range of benefits.

As part of the Business / Tax Services team, the company are looking for an ambitious and career-driven individual from an accountancy practice background. The Accounts Portfolio Manager will plan and lead a quality client service for the smaller practice client portfolio, managing a team of accountants & trainees.

Key skills & experience required:

  • Fully qualified ACA or ACCA
  • Minimum of 3 years accounts & tax working experience
  • CTA or equivalent tax qualification desirable
  • From a practice background
  • In-depth accounts preparation knowledge
  • Good networking ability
  • Highly analytical
  • Tax returns
  • Strong team management skills
  • Working knowledge of SAGE
  • Great self-motivation
  • Good problem resolution
  • First rate communicator, able to engage with clients and colleagues effectively
