Quality,Supplier and Product Development Manager
Our client based In Peterborough is looking to recruit a Quality, Supplier and Product Development Manager on a fulltime permanent basis. Reporting to the Managing Director the successful candidate will have responsibility for all aspects of Supplier Quality Assurance plus Supplier Development in line with the business needs, including searching for new product and supplier opportunities and presenting strategic business proposals to the Board. You will partner Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales and third party approval organisations to both develop new products and implement process
improvement plans, which will in turn provide the business with a sustainable competitive advantage. The Quality, Supplier and Product Development Manager will also have the responsibility for executing quality and technical assessments on site with UK and overseas suppliers to determine their capability and in turn will drive collaboration between the organisation and supply base in product and service development. You will be required to develop and maintain a vendor rating system, ensuring regular and comprehensive performance reviews across the supply base identifying and implementing corrective action plans.
To be considered for this role you will have a degree in an engineering or business discipline and will have experience of operating at both a strategic and operational level within a manufacturing and sales environment.

• Quality Management qualification (CQI/ASQ).
• Training on ISO9001:2015
• Risk management.
• Internal auditor qualification (IRCA).
• CE marking compliance (CPR, DOP)
• Hands on problem solving, failure analysis, corrective actions
• Measurement of supplier performance, quantifiable improvements.
• Measurements of customer satisfaction, quantifiable actions to improve.
• Manufacturing processes.
