Pension/Corporate IFA- Ipswich
A highly reputable specialist firm of insurance brokers and financial advisers in Ipswich who have been in operation for over 30 years require an employed Corporate IFA to advise an existing corporate client bank, most of which is in the South-East.
Employed role with this fully independent, directly authorised company, with a salary range of £40k - £55k, depending on experience, qualifications, and transferable clients (not a prerequisite, though likely to result in a higher salary if you can bring some).
The role will mostly involve servicing existing corporate clients and following up leads from the insurance side of the organisation.
The role will be a combination of home and office based. After an initial induction period, you'll only be needed in the office for a couple of days per week.
Clients will be across all sectors, and will vary in size from one man bands to 500,000+ employees.
An average client has around 50 employees.
The company runs employee surgeries for many of its clients, especially regarding retirement counselling, so there is the option to provide private client advice as well, or you can simply refer it to their wealth management specialist.
Bonuses will be discretionary and based on profitability and your overall contribution to the group. The company has a team based feel to it with no individual sales targets.
Generous benefits include a £4600 car allowance, employer pension of 6% if you contribute 4%, life insurance and PMI.
The ideal candidate will have corporate advisory experience and be level 4 qualified, ideally with AF3 / G60 or at least willing to work towards it.
