PPC Executive, full time, Gloucesteshire

Salary £22,000 - £25,000


To maintain and grow existing Google Adwords, Shopping and other PPC campaigns and disseminate best practices gained in PPC to other areas of search. Based in our Gloucestershire Head Office with our eCommerce team you will have hands-on experience of managing online advertising campaigns and be able to work independently to meet agreed objectives.


We are looking for someone to take on responsibility for the day to day management and development of our online paid advertising campaigns. This is a new full-time role working within a growing eCommerce team, and will involve working with different teams across the business.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years paid advertising experience, preferably agency side or within a similar homewares/retail organisation. Experience with international environments or with different languages would be an advantage, as we plan to expand internationally this year.

* Day to day management of the company's paid advertising campaigns
* Writing and testing ad copy
* Optimising ads with ROI analysis, manipulating match types, adding negatives and improving quality scores
* Weekly reporting of PPC performance
* Helping to develop the company paid search strategy
* Share best practices for PPC marketing with the eCommerce team
* Using Google Analytics and our own system to improve on-site search
* Deliver insights drawn from our paid search campaigns to other parts of the business
The above is not an exhaustive list and, as part of a small team, it is necessary to be flexible to jump on and off other tasks as and when required to meet business objectives.


* Excellent knowledge of Google AdWords, Google Analytics and Microsoft Ad Centre (Bing)
* Extremely numerate and able to interpret large data sets quickly
* Excellent verbal and written business English
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi task
* Fast and efficient worker
* Keen eye for detail
* Previous experience in an office environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Knowledge of SEO, social media and content marketing
* Knowledge of the latest media or technology
* Experience working for or managing an agency
* Any additional languages (in particular German or French)

* Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ)
* Google AdWords Certified
* Squared Online Certificate in Digital Marketing
* Degree educated
