Regional Account Underwriter
Our insurer client has a high profile role within their head office environment to help grow and maintain business from allocated broker partners and to manage the performance of Underwriters.
You will have a high profile in your specialist market by meeting brokers and lead the growth and profitability of your products
Manage your team of direct reports including performance management, workload management and improving the performance of the staff a
Understand the revenue and profit performance of your accounts
Delivery of the GWP and Profit financial plans for your products
Effective liaison with colleagues in Trading Region and Underwriting Centres to support delivery of plan
Key skills/experience sought
Excellent organisational skills, including project management skills and ability for self-motivation and desire to learn
The ability to be a skilful communicator, negotiator and relationship builder, with proven experience of these skills in a technical commercial insurance environment.
Have in depth up to date underwriting experience in Commercial Insurance
Experience of Commercial Account Portfolio underwriting
