Sales and Operations Manager - B2B service sector - Birmingham - £30k to £35k + Bonus

Our client is a prestigious B2B service provider within the Birmingham city centre. They are seeking a sales and operations manager to build upon their current market position, whilst ensuring the high standard of the facility and service delivered.

Sales & Operations Manager Responsibilities

  • Proactively sell the service on a B2B basis

  • Produces an achievable strategic plan (1 year ahead and longer term) and manage all costs in line with the plan to improve profits whilst maintaining service and experience.

  • Drive the trading & marketing performance of the facility - both contract and one off cervices

  • Continual improve the quality of service perceived and received by their clients

  • Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly reports - based on service levels, quality, and profitability

  • Coach and develop your team to deliver excellent customer service

  • Monitor and Review competition (prices and service)

  • Listen to customer complaints and observations to take preventative actions and strive to improve the customer experience.

  • Ensures minimum customer disruption when issues arise with the facility and service provided.

  • Ensures daily checks are carried out and cleaning, security and maintenance issues are reported in the correct manner.

  • Ensures that Health & Safety, plus local council policies and procedures are complied with by team members at all times.

  • Ensure invoices are requested and raised in a timely manner.

  • Prepare and review all paperwork for audit from internal and external teams.

Key Requirements

  • You will possess strong B2B sales experience within the service sector

  • A sales background in conference rooms, serviced apartments, exhibition space, within the Midlands area would be highly advantageous

  • You will have strong communication skills and be Customer and People focused

  • Experience of leading a team through development and people management is essential

  • Ability to work closely with senior colleagues

This is a key role within a busy B2B and B2C service provider. Therefore it is essential that suitable candidates are able to show previous experience of direct selling whilst leading a team from the front in a service providing role

Remuneration: Up to £35k + bonus is on offer to the right candidate
