Contract Type
Full Time

A newly created role for an Accountant to work in a growing and independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisors. The firm really do look after their staff and have refurbished offices, private car parking, pension and other benefits.

The firm have a number of Partners who have all trained with significantly larger firms and together they offer a diverse range of services to include corporate finance, audit, general accounting and tax planning for both corporate and personal clients. Their client base includes many serviced based organisations, retail; IT software, property and they have a significant amount of work with international organisations and their UK subsidiaries as well as a high number of HNWIs.

This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with really strong statutory accounting, management accounting and the role will suit an individual who can comfortably liaise with the client and attend client meetings to discuss various matters. The firm probably "sits" as a smaller / mid tier firm in size however does have some very interesting clients/work which is more commonly found in larger firms.

The position will really suit an individual who will enjoy focussing their career in a smaller Practice however you will need to be technically up to date and have knowledge of UK GAAP, be confident in preparing financial statements and may get involved in some Audit work and certainly you will work closely with the Tax team.

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced qualified accountant looking perhaps to move from a larger firm to have more autonomy and have close client relationships. The firm is commutable from Leatherhead, Guildford, Woking, Kingston and surrounding areas.
