Full Time Sous Chef
Our client, The Crab House Cafe is now looking for a full time sous chef to join their busy seafood restaurant in Weymouth, Dorset.
This position would suit someone who is ready to take the next step in their career, a passionate chef to lead the busy team in their rosette award winning seafood restaurant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for running the kitchen operation on some days, maintain high levels of hygiene and health & safety. They would also be involved with staff development & food quality standards, whilst taking an active part in helping develop the business as one of the team.
Previous experience with seafood is required, also stock management and computer skills.
They also have a kitchen garden which will require development.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years working experience in a similar restaurant operation and have the desire to exceed expectations.
They endeavour to offer a good work life balance with two consecutive days off per week and the whole of Christmas and New Year off as the restaurant closes for a short time.
Salary £22,000 to £25,000 per annum plus shared tips depending on experience, working a maximum of 48 hours per week.
