Our client, a leading apprenticeship provider is currently expanding their sales team and have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Consultant to join the successful team.

We're looking for an independent, self-managed and self-motivated sales professional to join one of our established, dynamic and innovative Academies If you have Business Development experience within the work based learning and training sector and a proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets, then we want to hear from you! You will be selling into small SME and Levy Companies.

Experience of working with 16-18 year olds

Excellent organisation and administrative skills
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
To hold (or pass) an Enhanced CRB check
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**

To act in the best interests of our customers whether they are our learners, their employers or the organisations that fund work based learning
Match candidates to job opportunities and arrange interviews with employers
Mentor/train candidates on a 1:1 and group basis in relation to employability and interview coaching
Prepare candidates for specific interviews
Actively support fellow members within your team
Liaise closely with your Academy Manager to identify issues related with Apprentices or employers
Carry out Health and Safety assessments on employers prior to an Apprentice starting work
To focus on how we can deliver an excellent Apprenticeship experience for learners and their employers
Ensure consistency in the quality and delivery of the Academy message when engaging with youth organisations, young people and employers
Maintain appropriate CRM systems and management information on a daily basis
Ensure your compliance with business systems and procedures
Engage with local and national employers to secure sustainable employment opportunities through telesales and face to face meetings
Account manage employers and resolve any issues to ensure high levels of satisfaction with the programmes
Responsible for ensuring all relevant employer sign-up paperwork is completed to the correct standard
Responsible for ensuring all Apprenticeship enrolment documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner
Ensure all vacancies are advertised on the NAS website
To ensure your own skill sets are kept up to date and relevant
Actively promote the Academy in the local community
Attend career and networking events and host open events where required
To assist in the development of Academy and programme marketing materials and methods of engagement
To perform any Ad-hoc duties that the Company considers to be reasonable.
To be mindful of your personal safety and the safety of apprentices and colleagues
Attend training courses to further your personal development and knowledge
Key outcomes -

125 Sales Calls are made each week
Focus on the Core Programme you have been employed to work on
2 Placements made each week
5 new vacancies generated each week
6 Placements
Core Sales hours ( 10-12, 2-4) are adhered to
Positive Apprentice relationships (reviews and Apprentice surveys)
All documentation related to funding and audit requirements 100% accurate and to ensure that all claims are made on time to the relevant funder
Tracking and monitoring processes will be developed and embedded to ensure data and records are accessible and accurate.
To identify opportunities to enhance the work with our key stakeholders
Holiday -

23 days + bank holidays

Salary - £23- 30K Basic, plus commission 12-35K on top
